Wide angle lens selections. Am I missing any?

I'm after a Canon-fit superwide zoom and weighing up my options. These are the ones I'm currently aware of:

-Canon 10-22
-Sigma 10-20
-Tamron 11-18
-Tamron 10-24
-Tokina 12-24
-Tokina 11-16

I'm not so familiar with the ranges of any manufacturers so if anyone could point me towards any I've missed off, I'd appreciate it. If anyone could show me somewhere where I can search for lenses based upon criteria such as mount and focal length, even better. It would save me wasting your time in future.

I'd be interested in knowing which one you're gonna go for as I'm looking for a UWA next... :thumbs:
 
Next month I'm either going to get the Sigma 10-20 or the Tokia 11-16 :)

it is good on full frame but I think the 10-20 is better on a crop sensor. Its about 2/3rds as much again as the 10-20 now aswell

Full frame, the siggy 12-24, Crop sensor, i.e the 450d that you have, the canon 10-22. ;)

Much prefer the canon 10-22 to the siggy 10-20. Mainly due to the fact that it feels more solid a lens.
 
Thanks for the input. I may see if I can find a 10-xx that I can test drive to see what the actual difference is between 10mm and 12mm. I'm not sure if I'd miss the extra range or not. I suspect yes I would...

I think you'll find there's a surprisingly large difference between 10mm and 12mm. Of course, whether that difference is of any use or value to you is a completely different question!
 
IMO, if you only get the 12mm, sometimes you'll get the thought of DAMN! i need to go wider...

i know that i sometimes get that thought with only 10mm... :D

Ah, but that is when you need to go 12mm on FF
