Wide angle lens needed

hi all,

just gone full frame with a Nikon D3,i'm missing just one lens from my outfit now,a wide angle,at present i can't afford the Nikon 14-24mm f2.8,can anybody recommend an alternative....was thinking of the sigma 12-24mm....any input would be gratefully appreciated..

the Nikon 17-35mm is superb - you can still find second hand ones - well worth saving for!
I also have the 16mm fish-eye - which is a great fun wide lens - also superb.

I'm another happy Sigma 12-24 user. Pretty sure it's the only SWA alternative to the Nikkor 14-24.
