Why won't this image display in IE ?

Aside from photography, i use PS5 to manipulate graphics for my day job.

I have ended up with a .jpg that displays fine in Firefox and Chrome but which shows as a little red cross in IE8:

This is the offending image:

http://www.mobius.co.uk/images/thumbnails/N-NetApp.jpg (It is the NetApp logo - a square, blue "n" symbol)

And i can't work out for the life of me what I've done wrong.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Problem solved. It was a CMYK jopg instead of an RGB one.

Lol! Just been researching it and was running out of solutions! IE sucks imo!
 
I would have thought that an image like that would better be saved as a GIF. If you're using Photoshop and "Save for web", then your problem would have been solved anyway.

Indeed - GIF is better for images with solid colour.
 
The sooner the better IMO! Hunk of junk!
