Jessops might be doing something that supermarkets sometimes do. They inflate the price of a product for 21 days and then reduce it to look like you are getting a big discount - when in fact you are not.

...which is why I only buy from Amazon itself and not "fulfilled by" or Amazon Market Place traders.

"Fulfilled by Amazon" is easier to get refunds/exchange because it is run by Amazon itself but conterfeit goods are more likely as they do not supply them.

I think it is most likely because the January sales are looming large. Id put my mortgage on it that'll it be an 'on sale' item.

Might be older stock or lining it up for a sale 'discount' but Jessops have never been known for cheap prices in accessories anyway.
