Why have my photos turned out bad?

Looks to me they have a green tint along with a major lack of contrast, Could it be a out of date film? or one that has been exposed to light? Iam sure someone else will be able a give more detailed explanation

Almost certainly a scanning problem. These can be fixed somewhat using levels adjustments. The images look dirty too, seems like a bad service all round - where did you get them developed and scanned?

How long has the film been left since the photos were taken? Those road works are long gone.

I've seen colouring not too unlike this in expired film so perhaps it had been left a while or by heat or something before development? I don't know, it's an idea tho. I actually quite like the middle shot with that colouration.

is that Prague?

I've only every seen a magenta cast like that with expired film (after correction I mean as running your pics through some basic colour correction always resulted in a magenta cast to the midtones which is very difficult to remove, exactly like I got with some long expired 110 film once) - was the film expired, or had it been stored somewhere hot/in direct light?

@parman How did you scan them, on what machine and using what method? Was it in a full auto mode or did you do it manually? They're generally lacking contrast which could very easily be something that's happened in scanning rather than a camera/dev error!

old film, looks like it's become damp or wet and the emulsion has stuck to the backing to me as well.
