Yes
Just curious, my sigma and tamron lenses both have the very usable pinch release which is invaluable when you have a lens hood on, why do canon lens caps not have this, it's pelt.

Yeah it gets quite annoying when you have to reach inside the hood and try fiddling with tiny catches.

No idea why, just their design i'm guessing. :(

Cause they are tight?.

I never found it a problem to be honest

Use Nikon ones - its what I do

This way you loose them, get scratched front elements and have to pay for repairs/new lens caps.

The Canon conspiracy theories...

Because Canon are inhernently tight with stuff like this otherwise they would include lens hoods with all there lenses instead of making you fork out a ridiculous fee for them.

I got sick of trying to put the cap on and off with a lens hood on, so I got one the caps in the above post, although sourced from a UK seller.
Its actually fine quality wise, I was expecting something cheap and nasty, but its just as good as any other lens cap I've seen/used.

I just dont use lens caps, seems to a hell of a lot easier :p
