Extremely tempted by a new Royal Enfield - really want the Clubman but might go for the more basic one and save a grand or so. Will be posting pics if/when I get it.

kool ninja, none at the mo
last two bikes were custom 750 virago, then 600 bandit

I'll try and get some pics of my old man's Triumph Triple Speed and Beta trials bike later :)

I'm going back onto motorbikes next month as I sell the car in favour of two wheels. I've already placed a deposit down on a Yamaha YBR125 Custom with number plates and all documents made out in my name . . . but I can't ride it until I've taken the CBT test next month!

But the moment I am able to, of course I shall be taking lots of photograph of her while she is in a brand new state. :D

Can't wait! The riding the bike and getting rid of the car bit, not taking photographs of it bit, of course!

sounds good,

hope to sort out one , once sold some bits off ,saved bit ,
not sure what ill get yet big black rat type ,

Got a Laverda RGS 'Corsa' in the garage that I haven't ridden for a while. Need a little TLC to get it back to pristine condition. Bought it new in 1985, and been around Europe quite a few times. Not really had the time to ride lately and the roads here are too busy and too heavily policed these days. Not sure if I will ever sell it though, thought about it to fund this obsession, but I know I will regret it if I do.

i rode in london for good few years,(6 or so)wouldn't wanna do it now !

nice bike thou, have to take few pic's then

Had a 99 R1 a couple of years ago until someone nicked it!

Last one I had was a VTR1000, good but not a patch on the Yammy.

Now bikeless and keep looking for a project to do up but £100 doesn't buy much nowadays.:(

Hi guys, new on here. Here is my steed.

I did have a 600 Bandit and a '98 Kawasaki ZX-7R P3, but I lost interest in them, sold them when I started my company and needed to raise funds, and can't imagine myself going back. I enjoy my cars and track driving far more!

Sprint St, 2001 model, prefer the low end grunt of the Mk1 engine (second 2001 Sprint I have had, I've put in excess of 80+K miles on the two of them). 1050 has a nice engine but its a tad too sporty for me. Been riding since 1971 - so that will be 40 years next year, although i havent had a bike teh whole time, had about 5 years off after I got married and couldnt afford a bike, a car, mortgage ............

Had BSA, Honda, Kawasaki, BM's - still reckon teh Sprints are the best to date.

Cant see me ever being without a bike of some sort ever again though.
Nice tools, much better than a car, except perhaps during the 55 mile M25 commute in winter.

Matt

Alas the SV650 was written off :(

I still have the 'Blade though....

Haven't been able to ride the bike for almost a year, and now my knee is better, the MOT's run out :bang:

Have to get that sorted this weekend....

If your looking at the BM type i.e. the BMW GS, take a look at the ktm 650s i think it is, hell of a lot cheaper and a much better bike esp in the fact the frame doesnt tend to crack :)

prob getting sommat around the grand mark or poss leave till after winter, but that seems so long away

i have a 74 xs 650 hardtail chop..but its been holed up in the workshop for nearly 2 years ....needed work ..just never got the time now :(

it'll breath again one day lol

sounds like aa nice bike matt have to get it back on the roads and pic or two

Strangely enough I have one, currently a ZZR1200 that I commute on, currently on around 68K miles

Don't have anything these days but constantly wish I did. Had a few sports bikes, 2001 R6, 2003 RSV Mille, 2004 Ducati 749s and most recently a 2003 R1. There aren't many places you can have a good blast on sports bikes these days though unless you do a track day. Too many low speed limits (nationals being changed to 50s), speed cameras on the best roads (cat and fiddle) and road furniture to hit and die. Thinking that when I get another it will be something like a Triumph Bonneville or a Harley Fatboy if funds allow.

Only got back into biking again recently...I passed my bike test in 1972 :D

I had a BSA and a Velocette Venom in the 70's, now riding this: VFR 800

Here's my BMW thing.

My husband’s Triumph Sprint……

However, I’m pretty sure the engine isn’t supposed to look like this……

Blew up on the move, having passed it’s MOT about 2 hours earlier.
Hubs is heartbroken because we just don’t have the funds to replace the engine, so it sits gathering dust in the garage :(
