White balance welding glass problem

Ok so I thought I would jump on the band wagon and have a go at this welding glass business. Orderd my glass from the link in the tutorial off eBay. So I read the guide on here and followed the instructions but all my pictures come out green

Im using a Nikon D300 with a sigma 10-20mm lens. So I have tried both using a photo taken with the filter to set White Balance and also the above Method, but I still get the same green tint. What am I doing wrong? :thinking:
 
Have you remembered to save the custom white balance when recording it?
 
Yes u can see all my custome White balances in the PRE menu. Still I only get green pictures. Does anyone with a nikon know the custom colour temp to set 4550k is slightly better, but as hood ad I can get
 
Ok problem solved, set a custom White balance of 3450k, this was a lot better, I then took a shot and used that picture had the custome White balance :)
