I had a white backdrop for my home studio, it was a linen one that had to be ironed alot due to creases etc.

It got water damage to it so im getting a new one - but I have a few questions before I get it, looking to create photos like this.

1. Whats the best kind to get for this? (ive only used linen and not been too happy with it)

2. Wheres the best place to get them?

Thanks in advance

Your probably best going for vinyl as its hard wearing, but you may have issues if using it on carpet.

Paper is also a good option....

vinyl - give morag at tony beal a call (sales@tonybeal....)

www.tonybeal.com

I am nothing other than a very satisfied customer.

2.5 x 5m white vinyl (they do other colours too) - about £65 delivered.

obviously - you'll need a support system too.

thats where i got my background.. i got a long curtain pole from B&Q, a few plastic clamps and a role of extra strong carpet tape - this holds it all together - also i used l shaped brackets and the pole sits nicely on them ; 1 each side and one in the middle.. seempuls

If you don't have the space for storing a 2.5m long roll, then a pop up may work for you
