Whispy water

Long exposures are the trick. Slow shutter speeds blur the movement in the water. Sometimes it can be achieved when the weather is a bit dull but if it is sunny then there is a little trick called ND (neutral density) filters. These cut out the amount of light getting into the camera and that way you can lengthen the shutter speed.

Oh and, it works on clouds too :)

Hope that helps

I used an ND4 filter on my waterfall shots, they dont cost much, a worthy investment :)

Correct :) I want an ND8 now :D

My wife got me mine for christmas, I believe she went to Jessops in Swansea, either that of the Camera Centre across the road from it.

Best experienced under the influences :D

Mine is mearly a 58mm screw on jobbie, but the cokin style ones Stan suggested are the way forward especially if you want to use graduated ones.

Although I do think you can get circular grads which have an adjustment built in, but still cokin FTW

I already have an adapter.I bought it a few days ago so i could get a close up kit for a bit of macro. (close up kit arriving 2moz)

Just a case of getting the rest.

They do have a 28 filter kit package on flea bay aswell, looks very tempting.
