Whisky Miniatures

Are there any collectors of whisky miniatures on the forum?

A friend of mine has recently inherited a collection (I think about 200-300) of whisky miniatures. He wants to sell them on and knowing that I'm partial to a dram or three of whisky asked me if I knew of any way he might be able to value the collection.

The trouble is; I know nothing about whisky miniatures; so I was wondering if any forum members could offer any advice.

I've never used a whisky auction site, but there are quite a few to choose from A quick look at the one below shows a few lots of miniatures in their current sale. Might be worth a phone call?
