This is doing my head in.
It's that time of year (Christmas) when we get parcels - either delivered to us or as a result of online shopping.
I'm off work just now and have been 'home' for 3 months so, whilst I accepted the 'note' from the postman in the past - I wasn't shocked to see the news today.
I know my postie and if I'm out he sticks the 'whilst you were out' note through the door to say he's left the parcel in the blue wheelie bin. Easy.
However - we have a new postie so I keep being asked to go and collect BUT I know I was in.........
The news today..........
By all accounts they aren't even ringing the bell - just shoving the note through.
To make matters even worse - when folk have seen the note come through the door they've gone out to catch the postie and guess what - he doesn't have the parcel. It was left at the depot as they only ever planned to post the 'whilst you were out' slip
