Looking for used camera where they have a B (bulb) setting for exposures longer than 30 seconds. I have been using an old Fuji S9500 9mp but has a B setting that is restricted.

Not too bothered about Mega pixels so not looking for the latest camera, forgot to mention I normally shoot in manual mode so not interested in lots of bells and whistles.

Any assistance on what make model to choose would be appreciated, thank you.

Something like a Canon Eos 5 mark 1 is where I'd look.

This is a big, heavy DSLR that can be found for £150 or so and can handle exposures as long as you like (so long as the battery holds out). You'll also need a lens but any lens designed for the Eos film cameras will fit and there are many cheap film era lenses for the Canon range. When choosing a lens, you'll want to be sure that it isn't for the APS format DSLRs.

More on your specific needs here...

If you don't need a cutting edge AF system maybe take a look at the original Sony A7, it's a mirrorless 24mp FF camera. It has a bulb mode, it's compact and light and the IQ will crush a Canon 5D and you'll have to clean your sensor much less often. A7's can be found for under £300 and MK2's can be found for actually maybe about the same price.

I wouldn't inflict a 5D on anyone, all respect to those who love that camera but these days I think there are much much better options. They are cheap and that is I think the only thing they have going for them but IMO they come with limitations and headaches.

Good luck choosing.
