Hi I am think I should buy a photoshop cs2 book to help me out a little.

But there are quite a few different ones out there I can do some things in photoshop probably the basics I still have a lot to learn.

Can anyone recommend a good one.

If you can still get hold of Martin Evening's book, it's a corker.

However, it might be a bit overwhelming for a new user.

I found that the best way to learn photoshop was to follow some of the tutorials in the magazines (Digital Photo, etc etc). It's a bit easier to take those tutorials as they're more "bite sized" than the large chapters in phtoshop books.

I think I've got a copy of CS2 for dummies kicking around, Pm me your address and I'll pop it in the post for you if I can find it!

Ditto - I have this book on my desk.

Also I learnt a lot from magazine articles in Digital photographer etc.

Any book by Scott Kelby about CS2 would be useful - but his Killer Tips and Down and Dirty Tricks are fantastic, they show you how to do something in one simple paragraph and cut out all the waffle that other's write.

He can take you through an entire process in six lines, that takes others 3 pages to do - look him up - you often get great deals on his books on Ebay or Amazon!

I teach Photoshop and he is without a doubt the best author out there, because he makes it make sense!
