I know it is probably done to death over and over again. I just wanted to see the current snapshot of opinions where it is good to invest some time

I've always been with flickr; but last couple of years I fell a bit behind with posting (and taking landscapes as well) and now just don't see anywhere near as much of participation. Rather there is a lot of unwelcome, "unsafe" content when conducting any basic search... 500px appear nearly dead...

Do you use any other, perhaps new emerging service?

Or have you given up and just shoot only for print and licensing sales? You could say I've recently sleepwalked into this mode.

TP of course (but I would say that wouldn't I!)

I've never been much of an advocate for file sharing sites as I'm a bit lazy and hardly ever put anything on my Flickr pages so cancelled the account last year.

The new kid on the block appears to be Vero. Not widely used yet but it does look quite good and a few members on here (myself included) have accounts - there's a thread about it somewhere.

I've started with Vero. Currently it has a photographer to photographer sharing feel - no stupid ads or videos like Instagram - plus you can upload in the format you took the image.
It is dependent on keywords and tagging however.
If you are looking for new clients then I'd suggest it's probably not the best but for viewing photography it's currently quite good imo

Ello.co continues to be quite active for 'art' work, some of which is landscape photography.

Pretty much all the photo sharing sites suffered when porn central Tumblr decided to regulate the content from its posters and drove them away. Tumblr refugee has become a well known tag and almost a badge of honour.

Flickr mainly, but I have lost faith in photo sharing sites since Google turned off Panoramio when they got bored with it. I had over 2000 photos I had shot, geolocated and uploaded to Panoramio, which had received over 2M views. There was quite a community with comments on photos leading to long conversations, plus a friendly forum. I am new here but I am seeing some of the feeling I got with Panoramio.

Flickr - mainly to share on forums though.
Instagram/Vero for social
Personal blog

Presently Flickr only - there has been an abundance of tacky content until quite recently, which thankfully has been cut back due to recent changes. I refuse to subscribe to the Pro account.

Was on Instagram until fairly recently but I found myself more interested in people's talking Malamut's, GSDs and Maine Coons so decided to cut myself away from it completely.

Must check out Vero, never heard of it.
