I am considering getting a smaller point camera for when the wife:love: gives me grief for taking out my "real cameras"... so after doing some reading on the WEB, I am thinking of either:

Fuji FS9600

Or...

Canon S3 IS

So which one do you think is best?:bang:

I used to have a Fuji S602 and it was okay, I have a Canon A75 which is nice but too slow now...

Anyone have either of the above?:help: :bonk:

I was thinking the new Canon G7 looks good and is smaller than those two. Not helping much I know :)

I would have thought with your m8 working at Canon you would be sticking to the Canon brand due to the bargains you can pick up from him.

All depends how small you want to go. The Ixus 800 IS is supposed to be raved about and really small, going up you obviously have the S3 IS and then the G7.

Ixus 800 will fit in your pocket. The S3 and G7will need a small bag to go into.

i had a g6 and it was a great little camera. The g7 looks to be very good with 10mp and is. It can't shoot in raw though but don't know if this is a problem to you or not and it can be picked up for about £280.

Got a lovely little Canon S70 here you should be trying Steve..;)

Takes the usual Compact Flash and has a good battery life when fully charged..

Shoots RAW (which most of the latest models don't now) and colours and contrast is just perfect.:)

Bring me a 30D and we can trade..
