In the market for a new camera and have settled for a 3/4 CSC, however not sure which Olympus OM to buy, anyone else having this problem on which to get?

What are you coming from Martin and what do you shoot? I'd be tempted to try M4/3with an E-M5, which is an excellent camera, before splurging on an E-M1.

Money as well their quite a price different between the two,if money not a problem you might as well go for the newer model, but remember the only thing with the M 4/3 is the sensor, they are better sensor out their in the mirrorless world :)

There's not a lot to choose between the sensors despite the smaller sensor size of the m43 you will not find too many complaining about the image quality of the OMD's even the high iso is pretty decent. The two OMD's your looking at all have ibis, pretty useful if using legacy glass. Also theres the lens line up and currently the M43 range is far greater than any other csc system. Regarding which one I would agree with Simonblue if you can afford it then go for the EM1.

EM1 looks the better camera, its also a little larger both in body and button wise which might be helpful.
I've been quite tempted to at least try one, I've been looking at moving back to full frame but looking over some shots I took with the EM5 a few months ago I half wonder if I should give the EM1 a try.

That's exactly it, full frame or the em1 the pics I have seen from the em5 look amazing...

No brainer really......If you can run to it, the EM1, if not then the EM5.

I have the EM1 and have had the EM5, both truly excellent cameras IMVHO.
