I am looking to purchase another lens. I currently have a Canon 7D with a Sigma 18-50 f2.8 DC EX macro and Canon 70-200 F4L. My dilemma is do I buy a Canon 100 f2.8L IS Macro or replace my Sigma with a Canon 17-55 f2.8 IS and get the 100mm lens in a years time. If I bought the 100mm lens now I would probably replace the Sigma in a years time. The IS on the 17-55 attracts me as I don't have the steadiest of hands and of course there the IQ but the 100mm gives a greater choice of focal lengths and a bonus of macro ability. A nice dilemma but a dilemma all the same. I'd appreciate any thoughts.
