Living in Spain there are a lot of harsh, bright skies, even in the winter so I'm looking into getting some ND Grad filters. What would you recommend and which make/s?

I've tried the search function but not found anything relevant.

With ND Grads you need to use a slot filter system to get the most of them and of the many out there I recommend Lee ND Grads, yep they are are expensive but boy are they worth it. However, I've heard that Hi-Tech are almost as good for quite a bit less, but you can sometimes struggle to find them. Both are 100mm so if you go for the Hi Tech ones I suggest you get the Lee Holder (it's much better built).

Personally would suggest you avoid the Cokin Grey "ND" Grads as I've had (along with others) magenta colour casts with them (particularly noticeable when stacking filters e.g. CPL and an ND Grad or an ND and an ND Grad).

I bought the 85mm hitechs and use a cokin holder. Good combo for a much cheaper price. These were bought primarily for the spanish sun, but haven't had the weather yet while I've been out there!

Ive got to say there is only one company for me which are the top of there game for filters and thats LEE FILTERS they are the best and worth every penny. I would recommend you getting the set of 3 a 0.3,0.6,0.9 you should be sorted with these, of course you then need holder and also adaptor ring, I would also recommend you get the W/A version and not standard ring. so about £290 but a very good investment.

www.studiokitdirect.co.uk this is a good company I use, but not sure on the shipping.

Thanks everyone

Because I've got a 70-200 L I think I'd better go for the better set. Just got to talk Reg around now :D
