I got a spyder 3 pro around a year ago after having a good look round and reading all the reviews. As far as I can tell it's spot on plus its a doddle to set up. I got mine from Native digital and bought the book by Rob Griffith 'practical Colour Management' (I think you can download it for free) a very worthwhile read. http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/ do very good reviews of colour stuff amongst other things, I spoke to Kieth Cooper who owns the site once, very helpful and a top bloke. Good luck, its a fascinating subject:)

I'm looking into Calibrators at the moment and have been looking at the Spyder 3 Elite and the Colormunki Display which are both about £125 at most places.

I've managed to get my HP ZR22w screen fairly accurate by eye using custom WB on the OSD menu (the "preset" WB choices were useless) but I'm hoping I might get even better accuracy with one of these devices.
