Yes
I shall be looking at purchasing something along with a new monitor in a week or so. I was looking at the X-Rite i1 Display PRO, has anybody used this at all? Does anybody have any experience of comparing it against either the Spyder 4 Pro or the X-Rite Color Munki?

Supposedly the i1 is much more accurate than the i1 Display 2 or Spyder series as it uses different technology to do the readings

I'm contemplating upgrading my i1 D2 to the i1 DP. The Color Munki Pro is the same hardware, just set to read 5 times slower. The difference is the software it comes bundled with....

I've just started playing with Argyll CMS and dispcalGUI. Seems to give WAY better results than the auto calibration s/w that came with my i1D2...

Look at Coloreyes display pro with the i1. Not cheap though

I have this, and it works amazingly well.

I use the device with Eizo's Color Navigator software now, as my new screen needs calibrating at teh hardware level, but I used the i1 Display Pro with it's own software for ages with my old Eizo SX3031 and it was quick, efficient, and accurate. I highly recommend it.

Cheers David, I think I will be going for that one. I know I mentioned in another thread about my reluctance to buy another Dell monitor but after coming across this site which somebody recommended I think I will have to eat my words  It is within my budget and most reviews seem pretty good from what I have read.

Dell's higher end screens are excellent.
