Which Lightstand

I'm looking for a cheap [in price] light-stand to hold my 580 EX and a Cactus trigger. Now not a lot of weight, but even so I'm wary of the under a tenner jobbie on Amazon.

So any suggestions of what and where to get sorted out.
 
yes that the one I saw, I guess at a tenner not much to lose, unless it collapses or falls over and breaks my speedlight. :(
 
Indoors it will be fine....

Outdoors, should be ok once its weighted down :)

As you say, can't really go wrong for a tenner! ;)
 
the konig ones are fine. Just hang something from them if you're using them outside, but that'll apply to ANY light stand :)

Manfrottos are nice I have a couple of 001B's, they are very compact when folded down, I think the Konigs are a bit bulkier when folded. Still needs weighing down outside though, my brollys are a funny shape from times when I forget :lol:

the Konig stands are great for the price! as said, if using outside weigh them down... I didn't and bent my brolly by 90 degrees :/
 
My Konig stand arrived at 4pm Saturday (today) So well done amazon.

It's better than I thought and should be fine for the use I have 580EX II and a Cactus trigger, would I trust a heavy studio strobe on it, well no personal I wouldn't, but as I say for me it should be great. 2 Meters is a lot taller than I thought, in fact I go and measure it just to check. Yes 2 meters, just a bit taller, maybe I should open the legs a bit more.

Thanks for the advice chaps, I'll more then likely order another for when my other flash arrives.

Can it not be set at any height up to 2m?
