I've had the camera for a little while (I'm a beginner), but I'm not happy with the lens it came with - I know I could be getting better shots with another. What would you suggest for a 'everyday' lens? I can spend around £200 and happy to buy used.
Perhaps something like the Tamron 17-50 f2.8 would be a good starting point?
It's wide enough for landscape and the 50mm on your crop sensor will be a good range for portraits. Being f2.8 (or 'fast glass' as it's sometimes known) you'll be able to use it in lower light whilst still keeping the shutter speed high enough.
Would have thought you could find that within budget.
