Anyone calibrating their prints from screen all the way to print themselves? I am aware POAH does.

Considering investing in a print calibrator. At the moment I have a screen calibrator (Spyder Pro 3 Elite running v4 software) but I am hearing that the Colormunki Photo is batter than the Spyder Print SR but is flawed by not having proper software/drivers for Win 7/64??? Consequently was considering an Eye One system but does anyone have any advice/comment? Basically I am wanting to calibrate my screen and a variety of papers and Epson/Permajet/Fotospeed inks.

I've got a spyder3 print studio so its got the elite monitor calibrator and the print calibrator. don't rate the munki for printer calibration.

I've found epsons profiles for their own inks pretty spot on same with permajet. The fotospeed profile for their ink and paper I've not tried

Fotospeed offer a free print profiling service which you might want to check out.

DSCL will send you a digi image and a print to help match screen to print.

Next time you make an order just ask for it in the comments box just before you pay. They'll send you a print, digi image and the print profiles on a cd

Thanks guys, am aware of the profiling service but intend to do my own soon

I too use a Colormunki, and have had no problems. I use it to calibrate both screen and printer/paper combinations. I also use bespoke profiles from Permajet to do the latter, and that has worked well for me too. (Somehow I have more confidence if somebody else does the profiling for me, but there is no logical reason for that as the Colormunki works fine).
I am running CS4 on Windows 7 and printing on an Epson R2880..
