Hi
I could really do with some advice. I want to take good pictures for my website, my pictures need to be on a white background.

I had bought a small pop up tent and two small lights on tripods, which is good for the 'small' things but it does not do all I need it to due to size.

So my question is which is the best to buy for

a) limited space
b) studio quality

Do I go for a large pop up box and bettter lights, do I go for a screen or is there somethign better out there.

I'm not precious about it, so would consider second hand if anyone knows good sites (still a newbie so can't buy from here yet).

Of if anyone knows good offers anywhere.

Also which is the best option.

I'm just getting my head around photoshop elements 9 so I can edit and tweak and believe me my skills are that limited that I need to.

I have good products, a good camera (Cannon eos 550d) but thats where it all ends. I have joined my local camera club, but progress is rather slow as every weeks seems to be 'competition' time where I sit and look at over 300 pics, many of them taken in the sixties. I have learnt some things and the people are lovely so I will continue.

So a shout out from a Newbie.................... HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mostly baby items, personalised bibs, baby baskets (fulll of products) personalised workwear etc. Personalised teddies, baby comforters, blankets etc and almost anythign you can personalise, bags, towels, aprons etc. I sew and embroider for a living.

Some are, but I tend to show either a blue or pink one and give the option variation of white. Some products, ie: my christsening or naming day range are white.

However in order to comply with the next wave of Google regulations my backgournds neeed to be white - if not they will not show in google base, shopping etc. and my organic listings are good but not great. So I have he mamoth task of retaking/editing 500 + pics.

Don;t want to edit all of the ones I have now, figured it would be better to re-take, so not sure if to buy anew tent, or a chroma key backdrop.

Just wondered if anyone else in the same boat - or if anyone else is taking web acceptable pics and what do they do. My products change and are added to on a weekly basis so I figured the most cost effective way is to take them myself and as they are personalised to order no two are the same, apart from the Sophies and Jacks etc (just a example - but some of the )names/messages are very different).

Ps: Not helping much am I?
