Which film cameras are compatible with my EF lenses?

... if any?

Apologies if this has been covered before; I've tried a search but haven't found anything relevant.

I'd like to get myself a half decent film camera, on a low budget. In my current kit I have a 450D, with two EF lenses and two EF-S lenses.

Am I correct in thinking that the EF-S will only work with digital, however the EF may be compatible with some film cameras? And more importantly, if they are compatible, which ones should I be looking at so that I can make use of the lenses I already have?

Thanks.

Canon EF lenses will work with pretty much any EOS film body - there are issued with some EF lenses from Sigma that will only work on certain bodies - Sigma's did a lousy reverse engineering job on the EF mount :shake:.

As far as EOS film bodies - the EOS-30 is a nice little camera, and pretty much one of the last ones they made. The EOS-3 is even nicer, but they cost a bit more. If you've got a few bob more, then the EOS-1v is fantastic, and the only EOS film body i'd use in preference to the EOS-3.

They all work great with a bit of L glass too ;)

Great stuff, thanks for your help guys.
