Looking to get my first zoom for my Nikon D60.

Looking to spend around £100-£150, I know whatever I get wont be amazing at that price point, but the best of a bunch is still the best! :D

Looking for around the 200mm top end, I currently have the 18-55mm kit lens so starting around the 55mm or 70mm is fine.
Nikkor/Nikon,
Tamron,
Sigma,
I dont mind.

Im not adverse to buying second hand but has to be close to collect (From Swansea, South Wales) of which I see nothing in the for sale section. I did have a quick check on camarthen camera center's site but nothing really that I could see...

The main thing is it has to allow for auto-focus when im feeling lazy. I think being stuck in manual only will be more annoying than not having the reach I want currently..
I keep getting confused by the different companies calling their focussing systems different things. I think HSM is sigma's? AF-S is Nikons?

Either way I have officially become too confused by all these seemingly random letters and its late so Ive now given up and decided I need to seek help :'(

Looking forward to peoples inputs. :)

(Ive bolded the key points for the skimmers amongst us :p)

Nikon 55-200 VR, new it can be had for just under £150 from Ebay, secondhand maybe £110-125 from the classifieds here. It was designed specifically for the D60 (well, it's predecessor, the D40) so it has AF-S and it's a cracking wee lens for the money

That was the one that stood out for me, especially as it has the added option of VR..

Main problem is delivery, our post man just chucks things over the wall (included signed for) so ive had a number of things broken or flooded with rain water when I get home despite complaints... :(

Buy from a seller that uses a different courier, Parcelforce or DHL etc....
