I'm getting annoyed with my standard Sanyo charger that came with the batteries. It doesn't actually tell me what state they're in. I understand that some third party chargers do give the state of the battery so you can charge accordingly.

Wondered if any one uses these and if so what ones?
Cheers :)

I just use an ordinary 7dayshop fast charger and one of those little battery tester thingy's they sell! Works just fine!!

According to that thread I bought 24 Eneloops...I wonder what the hell I did with them all

I use a Uniross "15 minute" charger with mine. In reality it takes about 25-30 mins to charge the Eneloops, it's probably not doing them any good charging them that fast, but I'm impatient so.....:D

I have 40 of them now!!!! I use 1 BC900 but because I have so many I just chuck them in a plastic pot next to the charger and grab charged ones then keep swapping them over in the charger when they finish.....

i use the BL700 from here: http://www.batterylogic.co.uk/

not as cheap as most chargers, but if you can spend on great batteries like the eneloops, it only makes sense to get them a great charger  :p

Yes the BL700 is not that much different from the BL900 that I use. The biggest difference is that the BL700 is actually available whilst the BL900 can't be found

Powerex Maha C9000 for me, similar to the BL700..really does look after the batteries with that refresh/recharge function

Me too - I've found it will sometimes salvage cells that other chargers reject as well.

Fabulous bit of kit.

I think that the reality is that any of the intelligent chargers pretty much do the same decent job be it BC700, BC900 or Powerex Maha C9000. The Eneloops are superb batteries and I love the way that you can charge up loads of them and just stuff them in your bag knowing that they will still work in 6 weeks time if your need them (or longer in fact). Using the intelligent charger means that every couple of months I can just get together all of my batteries chuck them in a big pot and stuff them into the charger four at a time and not risk over charging any whilst still getting them all back to full charge. I've not tried the alternatives to Eneloops because for the difference I would rather have Eneloops.

Thanks folks. I looked at the Maha one which I could get from my local Maplin store, but at £49.00 seemed a tad steep compared to a CL700 from Battery Logic, at £27.99 inc del!

Not sure what the difference will be, but the main thing is I can find out what state each battery is.

Thanks everyone

I can recommend the Ansmann Energy 8 Plus and the TechnoLine BC-700/900.

They are not cheap but are very good.
