Hi all, I have a CF express card type b and I'm trying to find a cheap reader with usb c connection for my MacBook air, can anyone recommend one please? I have found cheap ones but there is no conclusive evidence that it will fit a CF express card type b.

I bought this one a couple of month ago and it works flawlessly with my Macs.

Thanks, I was hoping for something under a tenner haha, is there a way of just getting the cable to work when connecting directly to the Z6 and usb c to the Mac?
You will not get a CFexpress reader for under a tenner.

I'm Canon/Windows user so can't say for your equipment. When I was looking at card readers, the "cheap" ones from AliExpress or Ebay were about £30, and known branded ones like Lexar/Sandisk etc varied between £70 and £150. Hence when I came across the Sabrent one at just over £40 I felt it was worth a try, and it's proved to be great so far.

My viewpoint was consider the cost of your own time, and it doesn't take more than an hour or two of frustration when copying files from a camera/card onto a computer for the cost to be easily justified. Even copying 60-100Gb of raw files from my CFExpress card via USB-C takes just a matter of minutes and works first time every time.

I use a Moman brand one wasn’t expensive and is excellent fast and reliable, no issues with my M1 Mac
