Evening,
I realize this has been asked hundreds of times but I really need help deciding, one more won't hurt (hopefully). :naughty:

What will it need to fit

Canon 40D (possibly with grip in the future).
Canon 300mm f/4 L IS
Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L IS
Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 (most probably mounted on the 40D)
Another short lens (Probably Sigma 10-20)
Canon 1.4x Extender
430EX Speedlite

Now I like the styling of the Lowepro Slingshot 300AW with the side opening flap, good for quick access etc. Anyone with one of these care to comment on the usability?
Also, after any recommendations on a ruck pack style?
Thanks for any advice chaps.

I Got a LowePro Flipside 400 and love it. I had a slingshot 300 before that and did like it but when i got the flipside 400 it so much better get more kit into etc. The Slingshot wont hold all that what you want to get in.

In my Flipside 400 i have in it is

Canon 40D
Canon 70 - 200 L
Canon 17 - 40 L
Canon 50 1.4
430 EX Flash

Cokin Filter Holder with 4 filters (soon upgrading to Lee Filter)
alsort of few other stuff. I still have room for a Canon Extender which I am on a look out for at the moment. Am sure if the Cokin Filter was not in the bag I could get another lens in.

Hope this helps

That is a great shout, just had a look and it is getting great reviews everywhere :)
Thank you sir for your input

Glad to help.

The flipside is great you can still get the camera out without taking the bag off your shoulder just swing it round.

Really like mine.

Been having a look at the Kata bags too, specifically the Kata R-102 but not sure it would fit all of the above, so might look at the R-106.
