Where would you go?

Japan...away from the cities and into the countryside. I will keep doing the lottery:)

The list is too long to mention here. The one place that leaps out is Cape Town. I went before on probably a once in a lifetime trip. But it was before i caught the photography bug, so all my Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Whale Watching etc photos were taken on one of the very first phone cameras. A great shame.

I've always wanted to go to Barcelona and Rome/Pompei, amongst a few other places.

It was a toss up between those two the other night, and my friend and I chose to go to Barcelona at the beginning of next month. It was only Barcelona because Rome has a slightly higher average temp at that time of the year, and she doesn't like it too hot. She decided to also go to Rome in October. I think I may go in December. :)

I can't wait for Barcelona. :D

Andy

My mate went to Rome in April with his girlfriend so I have an idea of how expensive it could be. But thanks for the warning. ;)

Although I think I am quite good with money. I went to Budapest in December last year and spent only £30 over five days, and that included a 3 day travel pass. ;)

Very nice pictures Oggy. :) I hope I have the clear skies you look to have had. I can't wait to see the Gaudi stuff. :D

I'd love to do Scotland, but I don't drive (at least at the mo) so there would be some much that would be inaccessible. :(

Maybe one day. :)

One hour Verona,oh and the food/wine well I'll let you find out more.

Yep you will love it, i was up in Inverness a couple of weeks ago, lots to see that far up north, Loch ness absolutely stunning, the 3 sisters of Glencoe, Fort Augustus, Fort William, most places that far up are beautiful, it's funny how we don't always realize how much stunning scenery we have in Britain, anyway here's my list

Vietnam - Halong Bay.
Cambodia - The Killing Fields, going to both of these next year.
China - The Great Wall.
Japan - Tokyo.
New Zealand.
Australia.
Iceland - the geysers (or maybe i should just go to London )
The Grand Canyon.
Niagara Falls.

Brazil has been on the agenda for sometime also Argentina and in 6 weeks time I will be doing both :clap:with a 4 day trip up the Amazon:D

Annoyingly I've been to most of the places I'd like to photograph, but back then wasn't "into it" in such a big way. With a baby due to arrive in the next couple of weeks I can't see us visiting the like of Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Grenada, Barbados, Dubai and most of Europe for some time :(

Oh well, I hear Scotland is quite picturesque :S

I suppose its a case of what your photographic interests are,if you are into buildings then Rome,Vienna or Moscow if its landscapes the Rockies or New Zealand if like me its Steam Trains then India or Cuba.
