I have a couple of days to spend in Hinkley, Leicester in a couple of weeks doing nothing much except whatever I want. Thought I would take some photos while I am there but am stumped as to where exactly to go. Thinking maybe nature type ones? I have been onto tourist info sites but nothing like local knowledge. thanks

Don't live over that side of town and not sure what you are into buty there is Twycross Zoo, Bosworth Battlefield, several walks around that area cross fields around Sutton Cheney, Shenton Station etc. etc, also Burbage Common (also known for dogging!)...

may do a couple of walks if the weather is nice!!! Dont think I fancy taking photos of the dogging though :gag:

home of the triumph motorbike factory try the tour and tog the machines...

Did used to have a bike but although I love riding them I dont think I would be up for taking photos of them as well!

Bradgate Park just North of Leicester is good for Red Deer.

Beacon hill too, with Lady Grey's tower (I think that's at the beacon anyway!)

Queen's Park in Loughborough, with the Carillon war memorial tower, lots and lots of fairly friendly squidgers, and of course the 'Sockman' in Loughborough town centre.

there is always burbage common, thats in hinkley, i live not far from it lol

Mallory park race track, Dunno whats racing this time of year though
