Hi, in the May half term, me, my mum, and dad are off to Malham Spout for a couple of days, mainly to do a little bit of walking, and for me photography. So has any one got any recommended locations for photography? I'm mainly looking for landscape opportunities. There's the obvious waterfall at Malham spout, and Malham cove, but was wondering if there was any where which has a few less people, but is still fairly accessible (don't mind walking quite a bit, but no hard core hikes), which is a great place for getting shots? Please fell free to put up any shots you like from around Malham, that would be very helpful :)
thanks
Bill

The walk to the top of Malham Cove and along the Pennine Way to Malham Tarn is straightforward.

The view from the top is excellent, you may get some views of climbers on the cove and the odd geography - limestone pavement and streams disappearing underground.

Have a look at the OS map of the area as there are lots of paths and places of interest marked.

I get an idea of what to expect have a look at this site - http://www.geograph.org.uk/

For landscape shots I find this - http://photoephemeris.com/about - useful too.
