Where to get chemicals cheap

I'm back from uni and want to develop the work I do over Xmas and contact print the masses of negs I have. Where's the best place to get chemicals for both? I'm wanting to get it as cheap as possible cos I'm poor! Also wanting powder stuff so I'm not wasting what I don't use. Don't know which brands are the best to get either?

you can get a chemical "kit" for bw film and paper from Ebay for less than £30 delivered - Ilford ID-11 based so very good, includes developer, fix and stop.

AGFA STUDIONAL Film Developer 1 litre from Silverprint for £13.55, and can be used at 1+30 dilution. I think this is roughly the same as Rodinal. Fixer is fairly cheap too and re-usable.

This stuff is not bad to play with, but delivery charge is high...you can buy it in London (in a shop), and got this and fixer for about £9.

Used some very old 35mm HP5 and bulk FP4 for testing cameras out, with very good results and yesterday developed some 1991 FP4 120, and also with very good results.
