Where to buy frames?

Hi all,

Just been looking around for the best place to buy frames.

From what I've seen, most places do not want to sell frames that fit into what I assume is standard 3:2 ratio? I find it odd that most places only sell this ratio at the very largest size when its like 30x20"!!!

I know eframe do custom frames and I used them for a letterbox frame last night but I was wondering does anyone know a good place that sells 3:2 mounted frames....mainly 15x10"?

Try Picture Lizard I've bought odd sized frames from them before.

i see you are in derbyshire if you dont mind traveling they is a picture framers in coalville who is very good. called central frames. and he will make you just about any frame and mount.

Hi James

‘The Range’ offers a wide range of styles and sizes including 3:2 format. Generally speaking they are decent looking and cheaply priced, plus they also stock mounts to fit all the frames. Yesterday I delivered some 12x8 prints on double mounts in 16x12 frames and the client was over the moon. After much searching I have found that The Range defiantly has a far superior choice of styles and sizes than the usual Ikea or Wilkinson type outlets.
