Hi,
Has anyone found where you can buy spare/replacement battery covers for the Canon LP-E6 battery?
I mean the small plastic 'trays' that clip on the back of the battery to protect from shorting the contacts.
Loose change and battery in pocket don't mix well, especially if that change is all I have left after buying the LP-E6!

A piece of insulation tape, approx 50p per roll?

Thanks for looking.
Saw that eBay also have LP-E5 covers. Maybe the LP-E6 aftermarket will take a bit more time to produce them.
Canon do sell the LP-E6 covers, approx £50 and come with a free battery ;)

Might be worth contacting the seller and see if they can get the fittment your after? you never know it might spur them into getting some in, or maybe they can order them in for, worth a punt

Yup, I bought a load of those - just before I bought the 7D :gag: Only problem was they were missing that little cut-out that the real ones have. I stick a bit of green tape on all my batteries. Charged ones have the cover put on to show the green, with used ones the cover doesn't show green. Still, a few minutes with an awl fixed that.
