Where to begin....

Hi Guys,

I have been a member of the forum now for about a year and abit and i have posted pictures of mine before now but mainly i have been a spectator with everything, looking, getting ideas and wondering to myself to what i want to do?

Buy a cheaper camera (450d - 550d, which i know are not cheap to begin with) ?

Or

Buy a bigger camera which i would prefer... (50d, 60d, 5d or 7d)

I came to the conclusion to myself and talked myself into a 7D with the thoguht, i will not outgrow this camera. I will not NEED to buy a better camera than this, with the seals on it to i can finally look into doing some sport photography on those days that are not so glamorous in the UK. :'(

I was wondering if someone can please post some pictures from the stock lens that comes with it (18-135mm) as i wont be able to afford another lens for the first 6-8 months, maybe longer, after i buy the camera.

I have used a 50d, 40d, and a 350d before now and the smaller camera did not suit my style but with the better sensors that the newer range have in the 4xx series and the 5xx series it was tempting me.

All help appreciated...

I was in a similar position in February this year when I started back into photography, I wish I had bought the 7D in the first place...
 
A good place to start will be Flickr. Type in Canon 7D and visit the group pool with all the photos taken with Canon 7D. Then search group pool for a specific lens eg. Canon 18-135mm and you will get many example shots :)
 
Thanks guys, i am more pushed towards the investment of the 7d anyway but its the cost side of things at the moment.

Just seen one for sale on here for about £900 with 18-135mm lens i think. Just wish i had the cash :(
