These are the highest CRI (colour rendering index)value bulbs I have found. in both bayonet and screw fitting. Most of the others out there are crap for colour but come in higher wattages so it depends what you feel is best for what you are doing with them. For me colour accuaracy is most important.

I brought a load from ebay for interior photography http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-DAYLIGHT-BULBS-5000k-Trumpet-Top-Photo-Crafts-20w-BC-/230379140851?pt=UK_Photography_StudioEquipment_RL&hash=item35a3aab6f3 they appeared the best value and the colour temp is a good match for UK daylight. None have failed, they are durable enough to take repeated fittings and they stay cool enough that you can remove them without waiting to cool down.
