Yes
I have lost the freeview HD channels on my Sony telly. Was all working fine a couple of weeks ago but since I got back from hols the channel was unavailable. I have retuned the telly and now the channels have disappeared completely.
I had BBC on 50, ITV on 51 and channel four on 52, now my channels go from 42 to 70 with nothing in between.

Any ideas?????

pull the aerial out and run setup channels again, it won't find anything but will clear the system, then put the aerial back in and run setup again.

That's what I did when they cocked all the channels up a few weeks ago and it worked for me

:agree:

If that doesn't work, with the digital switchover there is two retunes, it may be that another retune is required! :)

Hope it all goes well!

Hi stephenb,

Don't know if this will help....

I had a similar problem with a freeview box and solved it by disconnecting the aerial, rescanning with it disconnected, reconnecting it and then rescanning again. (switching off TV etc before discon/recon).
Apparently the channels were corrupted and the above action "wiped" them.

See if anyone else has better advice before you try it, maybe?

good luck QS

Mwhahahahahaha! :D:p

Cheers for the advice, switched off, disconnected, rescanned, switched off, connected, rescanned and still no HD??? The rescan after pulling the aerial out didn't clear the channels as it came back on to BBC.

Any other ideas??

See if the instructions tell you how to do a factory reset.

If the factory reset doesn't work,
Put on your postcode and i'll have a look at transmitter works etc.

Only other suggestion I've got is to have a look at your aerial and make sure it's not moved as some of the channel signals are weaker than others so you can lose some but not all.
