Yes
I've just bought a film camera for my daughter (thanks @moggi1964 ), and expect I'll be required to buy a few rolls of film soon - any favoured places you can recommend ?
Thanks !

If price is a concern, do a compare first... A roll of film can vary by £3-£4 per roll depending on where you go. Some films are cheaper on some sites - it really does depend which film you're looking for.
Also beware sites that quote prices ex Vat.

Analogue Wonderland (I tend to buy here mainly because of reward points)
Speed Graphic (can have good deals)
Nik & Trick
Wex
Silverprint
Process Supplies
Discount Films Direct
7DayShop

I'm sure others will chime in with more.

I avoid Amazon because they seem hugely inflated.
eBay can be good, but can also be hugely inflated.
Expired film is silly money for the unpredictability.

i wince at the prices.... £93 for a 5-pack of E100 Kodak - I still have a 5-pack Elitechrome in the fridge - I paid €20 for it, and that included processing vouchers. At the same time you could buy 3 Velvia or Provia direct from Fuji with processing vouchers for just under £20....

Since process paid Kodachrome was ~£6 over 30 years ago I don;t think we should be too shocked by the current prices. First I need to use up what is in the fridge.

For my B&W my supplier has been Foto Wiesenhavern in Luebeck as they are slightly cheaper...

Mathers of Lancashire can have good prices on film if they have what you are looking for, and look to be £4.95 for p&p. Increasing prices are a feature of film nowadays, so worth buying quickly if it's in stock as the price will only increase.

I've used Mathers too. Great service, called me to discuss a requirement I had and we discussed options and some alternatives worth a try. Good prices when I last ordered.

Rightly or wrongly, I've got my last lot from Amazon. For a short period of time they seemed to be only ones i could find that had the 5 packs of Portra 400 so i ordered with them, i also subscribe to prime so got free delivery too.

I don't normally order from them though as i like to support some of the smaller websites such as the ones above, Analogue Wonderland being a particular favourite :D

Process Supplies was my first port of call when I used to work quite near their shop in London (they also do mail order) and have one of the best ranges of film and darkroom stuff:

https://www.processuk.net

Aperture, better known as a camera dealer, have a nice range of film. They had dedicated one of their two shops to D&P and film sales before Covid hit:

Speed Graphic is another favourite (always good, fast service) and they also stock a huge range of accessories:

As above, it's always worth checking Mathers. I've had a good experience buying gear from Harrisons, and would be happy to order film from them. I've had some good deals from 7dayshop over the years, but they don't seem to keep much in stock these days. Amazon used to have some keen prices on things like Fuji multipacks, but not any more.

I still have part of a freezer drawer full of agfa vista ex poundland aka fuji c200.

Have used a few rolls but prefer superia.

Just a historical AAMOI:- Fuji Superia 200 (now discontinued) was an excellent general-purpose film, in resolution tests it was sharper compared to Ektar 100......120lp\mm and 105lp\mm resp. Mind you this was about 10 years ago and don't know if Ektar has improved.
