Hello all,

My phone battery died recently ,it started to take ages to charge and only lasted a short while, I then made the mistake of sourcing one on eBay the result was much faster charging but it still only lasts a day on standby, I suspect it's genuine fake Samsung battery. I have tried my wifes battery (3 years old) and this last a good while So where can I get a guaranteed genuine one from ?

Cheers all

Daft question but how about Samsung themselves,???

PS what model phone and can post the battery code/'model' ???

Also worth checking if Anker do one for your phone.

I use ravpower ones, in my old S5. Amazon for a couple of ££ They seem ok for the price.

Beat me to it, Samsung have a walk in help centre in Cambridge.
Presumably have others and imagine they have a repair service too.

I had same problem, I got a duracell branded battery from duracell direct and it has been great in my galaxy2, lasts several days.

Here's another one - should've been posted in equipment or computers etc ...

Saves cluttering forums that don't tally with the query :).

Thanks for all the advise evryone, the Phone is the Samsung J3 and the battery is the BG531BBE. I will try Duracell Direct as suggested , unfortunately in Dudley all we have is Charity shops fast food and bookies. In all fairness I'm quite enjoying my simple little Alcatel the battery lasts 10 days or more and if someone wants me they just phone me !
