where are actions stored?

Hi, where are actions stored? i created one that i want to transfer to another machine and i can't find it, even with a search.... there's a folder called presets/actions, but it's not in there.... i'm confused

Did you save it when you made it?
There's an option in the action droppy down menu to do this.

Mine are stored here :
Whichever drive you have installed PS to :\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\Actions

As above but you may find yours in the \Program Files(x86)\ folder - mine are on Win 7.

thanks for that.... i assumed that Photoshop would automatically save them, didn't realise i had to do it manually
