You may want to try and visit Focus on Imaging at the NEC during the first week of March when some camera retailers may have some good offers rather than the manufacturers
Are you looking for anything in particular

You know I was just thinking the same thing. Completely messed up getting the lens I'm after. From the looks of what I found searching the offers are fairly random and which products that are on offer can vary.

Is the Focus on Imaging show likely to have good discounts and worth going to try out a few lenses?

I really enjoy FOI its a great day out to see and try the latest camera gear and to join some of the workshops.
there are some bargains to be had depends on what you want.

It is annoying that they have these deals a lot more often in the USA than here
 
Cashback for lenses expected this w/end in the USA, so who knows when we might be next.
Maybe if they don't get a large take-up, it will be extended to UK/EU.

Also re bodies, IF there's going to be a new DX announcement in the next 2 months, there could be a cashback before then. Although that might depend just how many D7000's D300s there are left. They are becoming slightly less easy to get hold of though.
