I'm after some replacement bits and bobs, any help finding a good source for either would be much appreciated.

This is a screw with a bar in the end (which lets you tighten or loosen by hand), you can find them on larger Manfrotto stands and their 026 adapter. Manfrotto sells them in packs of 5 for £30 with shipping which seems... expensive but I can't find them anywhere else.

These attach to the spigot on a lighting stand, they allow you to use cross bars with small holes.

I'm not sure that I can help with this, but the go to place for bits like this is Speedgraphic

Maybe try a local engineer , they should be easy to knock up on a lathe . The bottom one's are just steel bar with some knurling on the end , this is a two minute job to make .

It's years since I heard that word.

Knurling - it's lovely.
