Whats the lens like on this cam?

Would it be suitable for the kind of photography I want to do, my dad has a D80 and has 2 lenses which I could use, I know one is a wide one as he bought it to photograph bathrooms he has fitted. I am looking to photograph scenery and sports essentially, but I'll use it for a lot of things when I go to college, but I can also purchase/borrow lenses.

What lenses has your dad got ? Most importantly are they AF-S lenses as these are only ones that will autofocus on the D60.
