Normal run of the mill paper and paper you buy specifically for a "Photography Background"

I understand the different weights of paper but does it have any different factors when it comes to light reflection etc?

I ask as I have contacts in printing and could possibly get paper cheaper without the "Photography" tag upping the price.

Thanks guys, any info welcome.

It's far thicker and tougher than any printing paper, has matte surface, comes in any colour you like, and up to 9ft wide.

Apart from that, no difference ;)

if its standard thickness paper that'll get torn to shred as soon as you get people walking over it

if you can get it made to a thicker specification with a lower cost then it might be worth giving it a shot.
