Whats the difference between a Canon speedlight 430EX Mk2 and Mk1?

Hey folks, as title really. I did a quick search but couldnt find anything so any help would be greatly appreciated!

From what i can see there is about £100 difference between the 2 guns so just trying to figure out if the mk2 is worth it? Its a lot of money for a poor student like me

Essentially no difference - nowhere near the number of changes between the 580EX and 580EXII.

Main change is the new metal quick release foot (good) and the handy slave switch removed and its enable facility hidden in the menu (bad).

Save £100 if you can but the old model has been officially discontinued a while now.
