whats the best value light weight tri pod

I have a Sirui T-025x, which is a Singaporean brand it appears. Carbon fibre legs, excellently made all round, paid equivalent of around 100GBP for it. Can clip it to a belt loop in a pinch if I don't have a bag with me.

I have owned two Manfrotto MKC3-H01 in the past which are half the price, they are fine for lighter cameras, but there's a fair bit of wobble if you load it up. The Sirui is well worth the difference if you can stretch.

whats the best budget light weight tri pod ??

'Budget' is a bit too vague, how much do you have to spend?
Also, what sort of load will it need to carry?
Tripods are on of those things you need to buy right, get it wrong and you'll regret it, get it right and it will last you many years. ;)

I bought a Benbo used off ebay for about £100.

If you want to keep the budget down a used buy could make sense as they're mostly just mechanical things and you don't have the worry of optics and electronics failing. A decent head at a bargain price could be the stumbling block.

Mmm, that doesn't quite sound right does it. And I cannot remember what I meant to type. Maybe "happy"??

No, no. I think you gave your tripod the best possible praise.

What do you consider lightweight?
How tall does it need to be?
How low does it need to go?
How small doe sit need to be?
What load does it need to carry?
How much is too much £?
