What's the best place to sell stock photos?

I'm not sure you do make much profit in stock these days, its more the Kudos of selling and then seeing your image used IMHO

Profit Eh?

How much have you spent on gear so far? or will that blow a hole in your business plan? ;)

You could join iStockphoto. I know its a micro stock agency and all that but you can then link through them in to Getty Images which is a whole different ball game.

I personnaly make around £1200 a year on iStock but thats a lot of sales at a poor price :'( it does however pay for the odd bit of equipment.

i just sign up to istock out of intrest seems a bit odd im yet to upload anything.

I'm trying to get through the Alamy QC at the moment, so I can't comment on how easy it is to make money with them, but I'd rather go with them than a microstock agency.

The last company I worked for bought a lot of photos from Alamy, so it is used and the QC is pretty strict, so they don't just let anyone in, which I see as a good thing!
