i was given the box set my sister got it at ryan giggs's book launch party. which is the funniest episode to watch?

The one where they come up with some plan to make money, end up losing money or getting stuck with some crap they can't sell, and hilarity ensues along the way.

the chandelier one or the one where they go salmon fishing.
oh and the one where they are batman and robin or even the one with the blow up dolls.
lets face it most are funny

'Tea for three'
Del has a taste for Hang-gliding (can't think of a bad one really)

Got to be either the blow up dolls (my sides were aching from all the laughing!), the Batman and Robin one or the episode whel Del falls through the bar!

All of them as some have said, find it very funny

Tony

My favourite is Go West Young Man (the second ever episode), but I like most of the earlier ones (the only exception is "Cash and Curry") up until the point that the two female leads were introduced, as by that point they were running out of decent scripts...

I believe I have every series/Christmas edition/specials, etc available on dvd, Just counted mine and I have 22 in total :)

Not sure about the best episode but the funniest moments for me are, as already mentioned, the chandelier, Del falling through the bar, and when Del becomes a father, he rushes out of the delivery ward and instead of saying it is a boy or a girl proudly announces "it's a baby"

A good edition is "The story of OFH" behind the scenes, etc. which includes Nicholas lyndhurst describing the moments leading up to the dropping of the chandelier.

Time I sat down and watched them all again.:D

The one where he actually did make a million on some old timepiece was shown during the Christmas break. That was something of a classic. :)

The third of the Christmas triple, which included the Batman & Robin one. I believe they made over 6 million from that watch. I think it's a shame they made the further specials, they should have ended it at that point.

i couldnt remember if i heard about that or if i made it up

did grandad die in real life?

Yes, they were filming the one with the claim against the brewery when Leonard Pearce died, originally he was the one who fell into the cellar of the Nag's Head and landed on Mike the barman (now also deceased in real life), but the plot was rewritten and the late Buster Merryfield as uncle Albert was the one who ended up in court instead.

im onto the one with the excaped madman and the warden has just arived at the cottage
